  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (approx. 2 lbs)
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp butter

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken breasts evenly at the bottom of the slow cooker insert.
  2. Add the minced garlic, chicken broth, and dots of butter directly on top of the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on the Low setting for 6 to 7 hours (or on High for 3 to 4 hours if pressed for time).
  4. Exactly 30 minutes before serving, gently stir in the heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese. Cover again to let the sauce thicken up beautifully.
