Method
- Place the chicken breasts evenly at the bottom of the slow cooker insert.
- Add the minced garlic, chicken broth, and dots of butter directly on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on the Low setting for 6 to 7 hours (or on High for 3 to 4 hours if pressed for time).
- Exactly 30 minutes before serving, gently stir in the heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese. Cover again to let the sauce thicken up beautifully.
