  • 2 cans 15 oz each baked beans
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard yellow or Dijon
  • 4 slices bacon optional

Method
 

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bacon & Onions: Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove bacon, keep some grease, and sauté onions until translucent.
  3. Mix: In a bowl, combine beans, onions, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.
  4. Bake: Transfer to a casserole dish, top with crumbled bacon, and bake for 45 minutes until bubbly.
