Ingredients

  • 280 grams All-Purpose Flour
  • 225 grams Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 150 grams Granulated White Sugar
  • 165 grams Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
  • 340 grams Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Method

  1. Prep Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream Butter & Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time until well mixed.
  5. Combine: Gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients. Mix on low speed just until combined.
  6. Add Chocolate: Gently fold in the Nestle chocolate chips with a spatula.
  7. Chill (Optional but recommended): Chill the dough in the fridge for 2 hours to prevent flat cookies.
  8. Bake: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool: Let them sit on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
