  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 sheets roasted nori seaweed
  • For the Spicy Fusion Filling:
  • 8 oz sushi-grade yellowfin or ahi tuna finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp spicy mayonnaise plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce adjust to taste
  • 4 oz premium cream cheese sliced into long, thin strips
  • 1 fresh jalapeno seeded and sliced into thin matchsticks

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Cook & Season the Sushi Rice (Rinse until clear, cook, then fold vinegar, sugar, and salt while hot).
  2. Step 2: Mix the Spicy Tuna Filling (Combine chopped tuna, spicy mayo, and sriracha, then chill).
  3. Step 3: Prepare Rolling Station (Wrap bamboo mat in plastic wrap and place nori rough-side up).
  4. Step 4: Spread the Rice Layer (Press rice evenly, leaving a 1/2-inch border at the top edge).
  5. Step 5: Layer Core Ingredients (Place spicy tuna, cream cheese strips, and jalapeno matchsticks).
  6. Step 6: Roll and Secure (Fold mat over fillings, tuck tightly, and roll to seal).
  7. Step 7: Slice with Precision (Use an ultra-sharp wet knife to cut into 8 uniform pieces).
